GREAT HABITS TO STAY ORGANIZED AT WORK OR SCHOOL

The skill of organizing is not just for school/work: This is a life skill that will follow you forever! So, why not master it? We have the full list for organizing yourself as a real pro.

All you need to do is implement these routines into your everyday!

THE ULTIMATE LIST: ORGANIZING FOR WORK AND SCHOOL

 

  1. DEVELOP A ROUTINE

    Consistency leads to productivity. Grab your favorite notebook/journal and write down your weekly schedule. Why not make a color coded to do-list. That way you can see if you are balancing your work and private life. You may not be able to completely stick to this schedule all the time, but at least you have a clear vision for your week ahead!

  2. HAVE AN ORGANIZED WORKSPACE

    Make sure to have a clean and organized workspace that way you can focus more on your tasks. Not only is it easier to find what you need, but it also provides fewer potential distractions. When you're focused on a task, you may also have a better sense of what else you need to do and by what deadline. It might help to write down your tasks in order of importance so that you know exactly what to work on next.

    Being organized can help you lower stress and anxiety because you can focus on one project or goal at a time. This can help you develop a smoother workflow and allow you to perform at your best.

  3. HAVE A DEDICATED SPACE FOR EVERYTHING

    Don’t spend your morning searching for your favorite pen, the book with all your notes and everyday essentials. Your pens/pencils should be in a pencil case, your Tablet & charger placed in a safe home and all other essentials neatly in their desired space.

  4. PUT YOUR NAME ON IT!

    No need to worry about whose organizer is whose. Make it easy in the family and at work - add a monogram with your name, initials or nickname - to show everyone who the computer/tablet/pen etc belongs to! You will never have to worry about mixing up again.

5. ELIMINATE DISTRACTIONS

A huge source of stress these days are the constant distractions. But no worries, there are some really easy tricks to eliminate them. First and most importantly, when you need to focus, switch off the notifications on your phone and computer (you can always quickly put it in airplane mode). Secondly you can put on a pair of noise cancelling headphones (which hopefully prevents people from talking to you:) to block out outside noise. Another good trick is to go to a cafe where no one knows you. Concentration and focus is the key to success. And you deserve it!

6. USE THE NIGHT BEFORE

Choose your outfit and lay it out the night before. That way you can avoid a lot of stress in the morning. Another great thing to do the night before is to pack our lunch as it helps us have a planned, healthy meal! Bag-all of course has a super cute Lunchbox for that :)

7. WAKE UP A LITTLE EARLIER IN THE MORNING

The most important factor to staying organized is making sure you are organized from the start. Your morning routine is an essential part to making sure your day is productive and positive! Get into the habit of waking up a little earlier, doing your skincare and starting your morning off right!
